The beautiful rock was found on our property in the placer mine tailings of the Dredge south of the Wind River Range in Wyoming.
Chert is commonly referred to as flint and was used to produce weapons such as knives and spears.
Measures seven inches in length and four inches in width and two and a half inches in height.
