2007-P Little Rock Central High Desegregation Silver Dollar

On September 23, 1957, nine high schoolers became the first African-American students to enter Little Rock High School. Then violence broke out they left, but returned two days later escorted by federal troops. They became known as The Little Rock Nine, and their school is depicted on the reverse of this dollar.
